A forestry trail through Ladybank woods - Eckington - Sheffield... Featuring 'Bella' the Border collie.
Approaching me at her usual speed of around 90 mph !!
Rivelin - Autumn leaves... Sheffield.
A forest track alongside 'Rivelin dams' Sheffield... the trail forks at this point .. up left to the 'Redmires dams'... and straight on to the A57 Manchester road.
My family had a weekend hut / cabin close by this area.... I spent much of my youth here and know these woods so well.

Approximately 3 miles to the west of the market town of Chesterfield - are the three 'Linacre' reservoirs'...
Surrounded by a most pleasant woodland walk.

A pleasant spot to sit and take in the ambience around the three dams - the lower - middle - and upper - always popular with walkers throughout the year.

Autumn colours - 'Ladybank wood' Eckington - Sheffield.
Ladybank wood within the 'Moss Valley' south of Sheffield - Moss valley was once a busy thriving area of small coal mines and water powered mills providing power to the numerous scythe and saw makers now long gone.
