Looking Down CN-Tower (3xPiP)

Only now, 14 years after being up there, do I notice these steel ropes along the edges of the tower (see note). I wonder what they are for? They remind me of safety ropes on alpine via ferratas.

Seiteneinschlag-Blitze? ;-)
Wir sind an einer eher "tiefen" Stelle des gesamten Gebäudes, unterhalb der untersten Plattform.

Ah da ist es! Tolle Tiefblicke hast Du da gezaubert. Das Hauptbild finde ich besonders gut. Das mit der Via Ferrata bezweifle ich doch stark, das Stahlseil muss andere Zwecke haben - glaube ich. Wäre aber interessant zu wissen.

Das Ding muss ja vielleicht auch mal geputzt werden und dann kann sich da das "Wagerl" oder der Putzer einhängen zur Sicherheit, dürfte ja ordentlich blasen in der Höhe.

Zum gettyimage: is halt scho' bled, wenn man Leitern überdimensioniert ... ein paar Sprossen mehr und du bräuchest weniger Talkum ... so is' a nix g'spart ... ;-)

Oder vielleicht Sicherungsseile, die die Betonplatten festhalten sollen ...

Jetzt sagt mir nur noch, das ist wie bei den gotischen Kathedralen so ein Außengerüst, das die ganze Sache oben hält ... möge nie jemand auf die Idee mit dem Bolzenschneider kommen. ;-)
