Build in 1548 by Pitti family and then sold to Medici family (as everything in Florence), residence of Kings an also for Napoleon, was given to Italian people by the King Victorio Enmanuel the third on XIXth century
Located two to three blocks from Pontevecchio must be visited if you go to Florence. Check full size for details, there were and expo of modern sculptures when we visited it, so that orange sculpture to the left was part of the expo at Boboli Gardens
