Una luce artificiale (fuori campo) ci accoglie all'inizio di questo caratteristico vicolo, credo senza uscita. L'effetto della luce è amplificato dal riflesso sulla superficie innevata che, con le sue impronte, ci rivela la presenza umana. Poi le ombre sembrano prendere il sopravvento, se si eccettuano due piccole fonti luminose. La grande cura dell'esposizione e la buona profondità della immagine, tuttavia, ci consentono di apprezzare tanti piccoli dettagli anche in questa zona più lontana. L'immagine, nel suo complesso, ci descrive un angolo di paese immerso nell'oscurità e nel silenzio ma ci parla anche, seppure indirettamente, di una vita quotidiana che noi possiamo intuire grazie all'osservazione dei dettagli.
Il buon lavoro dal punto di vista tecnico dà alla foto una atmosfera alquanto suggestiva.
