The Blue Lagoon (Icelandic: Bláa lónið) geothermal spa is one of the most visited attractions in Iceland. The spa is located in a lava field in Grindavík , southwestern Iceland.The water temperature in the bathing area of the lagoon averages 37–39 °C .
Bláa lónið is 39 km from the capital city of Reykjavík.

We managed to spend almost a day there...the only problem was my hair, after bathing for such long time enjoying each single moment... I could hardly comb it!!!:-)

They told us before to put loads of conditioner on it. I did it and kept my -long- hair tied up... and it was ok.
