Simona Gabriela Kossak (born on May 30, 1943 in Krakow, died on March 15, 2007 in Bialystok) - Polish biologist, professor of forestry, science writer. First and foremost known for its activity of conservation of natural ecosystems in Poland. During her scientific work, she dealt with, among other things, the behavioral ecology of mammals. She sometimes referred to herself as a "zoopsychologist".
