Very nice pictures here, but I am sure these are not real animals that someone shot for fun.
I thought those days were long gone. The only shooting we do is with the camera.
I know that you would not go killing innocent animals just for the sake of it.. You are too nice for that!

Hey dear Peter, LOTS OF NICE people go on hunting Safaris around the world, here in the US and places like Africa etc.. and it is done legally .... But I do know how some folks feel about killing these beautiful specimens. best wishes, Sarah

Peter, I do not know the story on these mounted animals! I was a guest of some friends who invited us to accompany them to their niece and husbands,s mountain cabin... But do know that there are season's and places where hunters, with appropriate licenses , have a span of time that is permitted to hunt... Tho in the area where I live, we only have deer and wild turkey that have designated times that they can be hunted.... I DO NOT KNOW what the rule is in Highland North Carolina. AND these could have been hunted in other states, mounted and brought here.???? The United States does have rules, certain criteria, certain places etc for hunting. Peter. AND Peter, I nor my husband hunt, but my two sons do. along with hundreds in this area. But my sons do not hung BIG GAME, such as the lovely animals shown here.

beginning to think I should not have posted this shot of this lovely cabin. but won't delete. There are laws that protect hunters across the world. AND I do know there surely are those who hunt ILLEGALLY...... my youngest son is in law enforcement, with years of Department of Natural Resources, Law Enforcement Division, he would NEVER hunt illegally and would take those who DO HUNT illegally to a Jail cell !!!! thanks for your kind comment dear Steve.
