What a wonderful surprise for you! I suppose they must live in the wild somewhere, but in a built up area? Maybe he walked off from a local farm?

Hello Peter, so nice to see you. Yes a surprise indeed !! I know NOTHING about this Peacock or why it is walking the sidewalk here. My take on this is that it belongs obviously to someone in the area here and is tame, so it wonders around the neighborhood! ? I had to move on in the traffic but wished I had more time to watch it for a bit.... I appreciate your visit and comment as always.

DANIELLE OH NO, Ive just this minute discovered that I did not reply to your lovely comment! IM so so very sorry, that was not intentional Dani! Thank you so so much, yes this bird was colorful and was such a surprise to drive by it as it walked down a narrow sidewalk.
