Hello Dear Steve, this was a lovely view Steve, prettier of course in person! the tree there in foreground was indeed a nice color, but as you may have seen in some comments, the colors this year disappointed us somewhat:(( Look at that first mountain there, see the "bare" trees! Maybe the UK saw / heard about massive fires around this area and other parts of Tennessee last year not long after we had left from our visit there in the fall of 2016 ! It is obvious everywhere that those fires took a HUGE toll on these beautiful mountains :((
