A nice homage and, I don't know why but I love the table mat!

Hello Andy, thank you so much...I am especially glad you like the "place mat" I placed there. and Andy, this piece of furniture belonged to my Grand Mother, (Mom's Mother) and is of solid good wood and called a "Sideboard" , a name form the days of my G/Mother... My Mom went ahead and let me have it when we lost her....She was a grand, sweet Lady!!! Still miss her.! and My Mom has now gone to join her.. Just a little piece of History for that piece...

certainly the sideboards ect were made of better wood back in those days to modern furniture

Hello Steve, thanks so much for visiting my Fall series. I guess its obvious that I enjoy the colors of fall and display my fall "stuff" for the short while before it is removed for the next season, WINTER..:) and CHRISTMAS ! Tho the fall decor may remain UNTIL I bring down Christmas from the attic!

The Sideboard, that was my dear Grand Mother's, we think is Oak! its so pretty and I so love it!! in some shots of previous days on Pano, the entire Sideboard was most likely shown on some shots I snapped.. Thanks again, I so enjoy your visits and your take on my simple Gallery.

Doug, hello, thank you so much, I do think the Sideboard , which is Oak, does compliment the things I place there for seasonal decor'...sometimes, its just photos of my grand girls...but THEY compliment things where ever I place them :))) Do I sound like a proud Grand Mother? Yep! :)
