Are they watered or can they manage the dry conditions? Anyway, they look glorious.

Algete has deep well water for gardening, irrigation and municipal fountains. It's not fit to drink. The mains water will soon be rationed.

I can imagine the fragrance Andy. I had one in my garden for a long time, then it suddenly died.

They all do eventually, Rosa including the pesky ones such as ivy.
Thank you. I'm in the hospital canteen for a spot of lunch. Big change. New caterers and for the first time they have healthy food options. It was shameful what they offered before, especially in one of Spain's top teaching hospitals,!

I've had a Jasmine plant in my garden for about 4 years..........it's about 8 feet tall and produces lots of beautiful leaves but very few flowers.........so I'm quite jealous of these.

In my most recent UK garden (2002-2009 - it seems like yesterday!), I had a jasmine that performed (underperformed) much as yours.

Oh how wonderful - I love the scent of jasmine. Is there a particular time of day when they are more scented? The flowers are so pretty too.

Hard to say. I've only been back 3 days and passed them twice. Early morning and late afternoon. Both times very fragrant.
