Wow Andy - that's a brilliant photo of this part of the coastline. I'm not surprised you were exhausted going down there and then back up again. I'm pleased to hear that you are talking about going up the Sierra de la Cabrera again in Spring.

Thank you, Jenny. Up until a few years ago I would spend a whole day on these cliffs and going from top to bottom and back again many many times in the day. This would be my warming up walk as I always did it first. And it would take me about 7-8 minutes if I didn't stop to take a shot or 20!
It seems I return to Spain for 4 weeks only in May. Family problems all round are starting to mean there's literally no-one else to help share the burdon with me. It will soon be one whole year since I saw my girl friend. Yes we are in contact daily but even so ...

But I don't get the opportunity. This was the first time I had been at the coast this year!! And that was only becuse of a late hospital appointment cancellation. I didn't tell Mum and Dad that! Instead I went to St Agnes Head for a nostalgia binge and just to see if I could do what was once a mere stroll!
By the way, sorry about today but the upshot is that tomorrow we'll have a brand new Bosch fridge freezer and just in time to save most of the frozen food. Just as well as I had only recently done a BIIIG shop and the freezer is crammed full!

Thanks, Isabel! Another hospital day today and because of the Junior Doctors' strike, a very long one. As my parents can't use their landline and don't have mobiles, if i'm later than expected they get very anxious. Can't be helped. All OK with me and I am going to have to get a sim card for UK numbers so that they can at least call me if necessary. Or, I stay in all day every day and go out of my mind with boredom!
