Oh I have so many mombretia plants in my garden - it's gone wild - but it does give beautiful splashes of orange and green. This is such a pretty picture, with the ruined mine and the purple heather, altogether with the orange mombretia.

Many thanks Keith.
It is prolific on acidic soils. I tried to grow it on the alkaline soils of the London Basin but it always spluttered and failed. Certainly nothing like the ramant monbretia of the Western coasts!
