Gurnard's Head, Treen, Zennor. I would collect it from here and have it lightly steamed with fish for supper.

A type of greensand here although part of the headland consists of granite. Not all of Cornwall is granite, even if I give that impression sometimes. Thank you, Ulrich!

Plants do well to grow in such places. We have a similar plant here growing in sand, but I don't know if it's edible.

I love it lightly steamed (one - two minutes) and served with a knob of butter and with fish. Adds a pleasant iodine-y tang, although it's not to everyone's taste!
