Fine Weekend

I especially like the diagonal moving toward the big sweeping curve -- very dynamic.

Thank you John. I took a few from different angles and with the sun appearing infrequently between the clouds, I was driving my girlfriend nuts as I wanted to wait for the ideal shot. I have posted a couple of this place before and I initially didn't reckon this one much. But I looked at it again and it has grown on me; the diffused nature of the light reflects the atmospheric mood of the place, so it goes in!

I've just been reading your reply to John Fitzgerald. I often to back to photos way after I've taken them and sometimes, just sometimes I find a real gem that I missed.

I have a photographer pal who sometimes doesn't even look at his photos until a week or so after he's taken them. He thinks it gives him a better perspective on them to wait a while.

Sorry...........rambling over. A cracking perspective on this magnificent monastery. I really like the surrounding cliffs and even with little water, the river looks pretty good.

Rambling, I can do that just as well as you ... and just as well as scrambling ... See? I'm starting to do it now!
Your pal has a good point. But I do this anyway. Sometimes I don't get the time to upload same day or I'm with my girlfriend and they build up over a few days.
A mere few hundred yards downstream and you get the start of a reservoir. I was about to post a link here but find I have to upload the photo first(!). That might be one of this evenings three. I'll think about it!
