Trevaunance Cove

The 'port' for St Agnes. Concerted efforts were made to build a harbour here in the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries and each time it would be destroyed by the elements. In the end they gave up. When the water is clear you can still the building blocks scattered out to sea at low tide. Today it is known as 'Aggie' by the surfers who frequent the cove (after St Agnes of course!).
