Beautiful autumnal colours !!

Finally the autumn is here... It's still to warm, over here, and I am really looking for snow and cold weather. This long summer isn't healthy at all.

Qui è sempre un pò in ritardo, rispetto alle foto che vedo, ma ora si può iniziare. Dovrò andare a fare qualche giro, ora che abito più vicino al centro non ho niente vicino, prima ero accanto alla montagna.

Buongiorno Herb; I think that nature is fantastic everywhere. I still remember a trip in Scotland many years ago and the intense beauty of the Highlands. At this time I used to shoot on slides and I didn't find so far a satisfying way to scan them. Screened in the classic way, with a Leica projector, they still are great but on my mac they look saltless and dull.
Anyway, yes my mountains are also beautiful and the reason is because they are so wild in the middle of the crowded Europe. They are an island of wilderness and silences...

When I went to Engiadina this October it was too early to watch the change of the colours in the trees.

Sempre felice di ammirare queste foto dovute al Tuo grande amore per la montagna che comprendo e condivido (anche se vivo sul mare ….)
Probabilmente questi luoghi, adesso, sono tutti innevati.
