Vielleicht war dies der schönste Ort für mich auf der Reise..eine alte Abtei in der Provinz Siena...viele sehen San Galgano als das bedeutendste gotische Bauwerk Italiens.

Ich hatte etwas ungünstiges Mittagslicht dort Uwe...am späten Abend wäre ich lieber dort gewesen. Das war wirklich wunderschön...so abseits und nicht zu überlaufen...beeindruckend und nicht touristisch ausgeschlachtet...ist mir soviel lieber!
Ich wünsch Dir auch einen schönen Abend Uwe...ich mach mir heute mal Tee..ist lausig kalt :)

The images in the PiPs are excellent too. I especially like the 2nd PiP the columns and arches holding up the roof are really beautiful and sharply captured and your exposure is spot-on.

Sie wurde schon sehr zeitig zerstört..das fehlende Dach erledigt wohl irgendwann den Rest.

Es war wirklich wenig los Eva...die meisten Menschen waren oberhalb in der dazugehörigen Basilika auf dem Berg...dort war Gottesdienst. Ich warte allerdings auch oft, bis die meisten Menschen aus dem Bild verschwunden sind :)
