Air transport in crisis 2022
This album contains a documentation of my experiences with the crisis in aviation due to staff shortages from April to June 2022. In total, I had four unplanned stays with five overnight stays in Amsterdam. However, starting with the flights from Stockholm to Bremen via Amsterdam on 08.06.2022, there were no more irregularities.
Motel One Amsterdam reloaded #1
The next stay in Amsterdam brought me back to the Motel One Amsterdam. This time on the way from Bremen via Amsterdam to Stockholm. Surprisingly, there was no disruption on the return flight.
Corendon Village Hotel #4
Then a beer in the bar.
Corendon Village Hotel #2
I had an apartment. That's nice for the few hours in the transfer, but somehow it doesn't do anything.
Corendon Village Hotel #1
Another night in Amsterdam, this time at the Corendon Village Hotel on the way from Oslo to Bremen via Amsterdam. It is actually quite close to the airport, but can only be reached by transfer. The freestanding bed in the room is interesting here.
The Schiphol Morning #3
The terminal is getting closer. The continuation of the queue can be seen behind the windows. Looks bad, but somehow it went relatively quickly because of the constant movement.
The Schiphol Morning #2
Tents have been set up so that you don't have to wait in the open air. Unfortunately the queue is longer.
The Schiphol Morning #1
Early morning in the queue at Schiphol.
