Finlande/Finland/Suomi : Cathédrale Saint Nicolas
Située au centre d'Helsinki, capitale de la Finlande, cette cathédrale évangélique luthérienne a été édifiée entre 1830 et 1852 par l'architecte allemand Carl Ludwig Engel. Avant l'indépendance en 1917, elle s'appelait église Saint-Nicolas, en l'honneur du Tsar de Russie Nicolas 1er.(1825-1855)

Assurément, Marie-Claire ! Tu sais, cet album 'européen' n'est qu'une sélection ! Bien entendu, ce serait, pour moi, un plaisir de commenter les épreuves que tu pourrais posséder sur ce pays de 335.000 km2, très faiblement peuplé (5,3 millions d'habitants) ... et qui comprend plus de 3.000 lacs (!)
