À Nîmes, un seul monument de spectacle antique peut encore être admiré. Il s’agit de l’amphithéâtre, aujourd’hui appelé « les Arènes », qui est l’un des mieux conservés du monde romain et de France. On peut également admirer la très expressive et populaire statue en bronze du matador Nimeño II, gravement blessé dans les arènes d'Arles en 1989.

This is a really beautiful sculpture, and composed perfectly with the Colosseum i the background. My husband and I were there last April but I don't remember this sculpture! I'll have to take a look at my pictures to see what I got for Nimes! :)
