L'amophille des sables... (1)
...les amophilles des sables ont un comportement étonnant, elles creusent leur nid, en fait un terrier aménagé dans un terrain sablonneux.
De la famille des Sphecidae, elles sont des guêpes solitaires tout comme les guêpes sociales elles sont des prédatrices. Elles mesurent de 1 à 3 cm, sont parfois noires et jaunes ou orangées. Leurs antennes sont longues et leurs pièces buccales de type broyeur. Leurs pattes sont souvent longues surtout celles de l'arrière.
