Hommage aux Poilus
Une aquarelle en hommage aux soldats de 14-18 qui ont sacrifié leur vie pour notre liberté. Elle représente le bombardement du fort de Loncin (près de Liège) par la « Grosse Bertha » des Allemands le 15 août 1914. La troupe du fort était commandée par le Général Leman qui, blessé, fut fait prisonnier par les Allemands.

Thank you.. Madeleine... I take an interest in your water colour work.. as I have always enjoyed sketching with pencils.. and as a part time hobby - I drew and posted cartoons to newspapers.. I sent them on a.. 'sale or return basis'... and had quite a few published.
