Tulips and Daffodils

Last week was our handicapped son's birthday and he wanted to go to Manito City Park and out for a meal, which we did. We had not been to Manito for quite some time, and enjoyed the couple of hours we spent there. We did some walking but nothing was blooming except in the conservatory. That is where these photos were taken.

Photographed in the Geiser Conservatory at Manito City Park in Spokane, these are the only tulips we've seen yet this spring. The weather continues cold and wet without any signs of spring.

My apologies for disappearing the last couple of weeks. We made a quick trip to Michigan to see my father who is 92 years old and we took our handicapped son along. We arrived home last night after 4500 miles of driving and thirty hours of driving home with stops only for gas and food. The photo was taken recently in Manito City Park in Spokane. We have not seen as yet any tulips blooming outside this greenhouse. Spring is very slow in coming. These were mostly finished but still beautiful and this one especially caught my eye.
