Flowering Trees and Shrubs

Photographed in the town park not far from our home where they planted numerous Magnolias several years ago.

We know that spring is really here when the flowering trees are in bloom. They are just starting to bloom now. The picture, however, was taken last spring at a little later date. In Explore April 7, 2012, #345. Taken in the city park that runs along Fishtrap Creek in our neighborhood while on a walk with my wife. We are traveling and so I am delayed in returning comments, but will catch everyone up asap.

At least that's what I believe it is. I've forgotten since the picture was taken.

The Camellia was photographed at Christenson's Nursery in the Skagit Valley. The title is from Oliver Goldsmith's, "She stoops to Conquer."
