Duncan Garden, Manito City Park
Manito City Park is one of our favorite places in Spokane and one of the most beautiful city parks we've ever seen. The photo was taken in the Duncan Gardens, a formal garden on the south end of the park, but there is also a large rose garden, a Japanese garden, a lilac garden and a perennial garden.
Duncan Gardens
Taken in Manito City Park in better weather than we are having now. Thought I'd post something that had a memory of warmer temperatures and sunshine. It is gray, cold and threatening snow here.
Duncan Garden, Manito City Park
We are hoping to visit Manito City Park Saturday. We haven't been there for quite a while, though it is one of our favorite places in the city. The photo is of the Duncan Gardens, the formal gardens in the park which also features a conservatory, a Japanese garden, a perennial garden, a rose garden, a lilac drive, a natural area, a duck pond and a splash park for children.

Spokane Falls
These are the Lower Falls of the Spokane River with the Monroe Street Dam just above them. The photo was taken from Riverfront Park, a beautiful park in downtown Spokane. Though taken this past summer, I thought the photo a timely post due to our move to eastern Washington and the Spokane area.
