Manito Gardens
Manito City Gardens in Spokane, Washington, has always been one of our favorite places and now that we live in the Spokane area I am sure we will see much more of it. This photo was taken in the Gaiser Conservatory there.

Flowers from the Gaiser Conservatory
I do not remember the name of this plant. Usually I take photo of the name tag if there is one but either forgot in this case or there was not a visible tag with the plant. It is another example of what can be found at the Gaiser Conservatory in the Manito City Park, Spokane.

Pocketbook Plant
This is the Pocketbook plant, one of the Calceolarias, usually part of the spring greenhouse display at Manito City Park. These are often used as gift plants, too, but are usually discarded when finished blooming, though it is possible to grow and rebloom them indoors.
Flowers from Gaiser - Schizanthus
Photographed in the Gaiser Conservatory at Manito City Park, Spokane. Schizanthus is sometimes referred to as the Poor Man's Orchid, though it is not an orchid at all and is not related to orchids.
