Exotic Birds
Folder: Animals, Birds and Insects
Cockatoo
From Bloedel Conservatory in Queen Elizabeth Park, Vancouver, British Columbia. Many of these pictures were shot a a very high ISO because the light was so poor and are therefore much grainier than I would have liked.

Bloedel Conservatory
Several weeks ago my wife and I spent a day up in Vancouver, BC, and a good part of the day, which was wet and cold, at the Bloedel Conservatory in Queen Elizabeth Park. The conservatory not only has a nice collection of plants, but also quite a number of tropical birds that have the run of the place, and, at the the time we were there, local artists were also exhibiting some of their work among the plants and birds. We enjoyed our visit and took a lot of pictures, some of which I'll be posting in the coming week.
