Rhyolite Bank

Rhyolite, Nevada, is a ghost town on the California and Nevada border. It flourished during a gold rush in the late 1800's but declined and became a ghost town in the 1920's. This was the Cook Bank Building in Rhyolite's heyday. The town is visited now not only for its ruins but for its strange sculptures, some of which are shown in the insets.

(I know Jim Doss also showed some comparisons from when it was used for filming !)
It gives a strange impression, doesn't it ?
Have a lovely week end, Ron.
Best wishes, Christien.
