Broad-leaf Paperbark

Also known as the Paperbark Tea Tree, this small tree is an important food source for native insects, bats and birds. Its current botanical name is Melaleuca quinquenervia, but it is better known as Callistemon quinquenervia. It has been introduced into southern Florida where it is considered a noxious weed and "one of the most serious threats to the integrity of the native ecosystem".
