Mirepoix

Amongst my favourite French places is this ancient Bastide (fortified) town with a convenient free motorhome stop which ensured many visits.

I really like this sort of architecture...........half timbered buildings, that is!

They're all quite different and a little higgledy-piggledy and with lots of different colours and textures. A delightful collection Maggie!

Beautiful and really picturesque. Well, I've been to Carcassonne, that's the closest I got to Mirepoix. And of course, other less touristy places in Southern France, but not yet to this one. I'll keep it in mind.
