Bee, El Dorado, Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, Colombia.
on my finger. I like having insects on my finger it gives a sense of scale.
I think this is a solitary not a social bee. To be honest I can't remember photographing this.
I know from the time where it was - a walk from El Dorado where I stopped for a bit.
Could it be a colletes species?
