- Neubrandenburg / Blick zur Marienkirche -
Die Baulücke am Neubrandenburger Marktplatz ist entstanden durch den Abriß des Vier-Tore-Hotels (s. vorheriges Foto) im September 2016. An dieser Stelle entsteht demnächst ein modernes Geschäftsgebäude. Der Bauzaun (hoarding) ist inzwischen mit Graffitis versehen worden.
Die Anfänge der Marienkirche datieren aus dem Jahr 1270. Seit 2001 ist sie eine reine Konzertkirche mit hervorragender Akustik.

Ich mag Nachtaufnahmen, Percy, diese hat einen ganz besonderen Reiz. Trotz der modernen Bauten dominiert die Kirche. Schade, dass sie nicht mehr als Kirche benutzt wird, schön, dass man sie für Konzerte nutzt!

Die Perspektive täuscht etwas, Heidi. Die Kirche befindet sich deutlich hinter den beiden Gebäuden und hat genug Platz. Ansonsten brauchen wir keinen neuen Konsumtempel in Neubrandenburg.
