Andy, you told me once that you like horses and that they smell good! Well, here is a nice one for you, sorry you can't smell this one. If you're reading this, that means you're feeling better!

Wonderful action shot ! But, I'll pass also. Last time on a horse was in Florida. Next door neighbor had one she needed to go feed, but her parents hadn't gotten home from work yet. So, I pack up my 2 yr old [ yup, in the dark ages ] and take her out to feed the horse. Gorgeous animal - 17 hands high.
Was asked, " do you want to ride her?" Keep in mind I had never at this point done that ! Sure, said I.. so over to the fence and I got on her back that way --- then, my neighbor handed me the 2 yr old! Why not ? We rode just a short distance -- my daughter can't believe I rode bare back and she was with me ! Oh, the things we do when we don't consider what might happen !

Haha - I know what you mean! I was tossed off a horse early, maybe 9 or 10, but at the time I considered it kind of a challenge. Grandpa's "Paint" did that to all children, but he was too lazy to buck. He would just suddenly stop dead and kind of lean forward...PLOP! I did learn to be more confident and, as they say, that is transmitted down the reins. Thanks, Peggy!
