Flatland sunset
Dorris, California. My 13-year-old granddaughter was driving (!) me around the dirt trails on the farm where they are living for a few months. She was very slow and careful and I was having fun seeing what sights there were.

This made me laugh: "The town being small, the only attractions are the flagpole and county library." That sounds so pitiful! They should have added the water tank and the wigwam sawdust burner (seen in another photo here). A 3-star hotel at $140 per night? Ha! I wouldn't say "the athletes" were exactly top notch.
