Ha, ha.................I spent most of my childhood getting wet and muddy in the small stream than ran past our house............and of course, it was never my fault..!!

The funny thing is that she has never, ever been picky about getting wet or dirty. I don't know why she remarked about it that day. ;-)

Is this a play called "Mizukiri" in my country?

Mizukiri is a game of throwing a stone with spin toward the water surface to make it skip over the water, sometimes competing how many times the stone skips.

Yes, exactly! We just call it "skipping rocks (or stones)." It takes a lot of practice to get it right! ;-b

Childhood is loads of fun, if you're lucky! I remember these simple pleasures very fondly. Now, both kids are glued to their phones, but I'm not sure how much fun they're having. ;-o
