Fighting fan beginner, age three
My understanding is that children this small do not seriously study the "weaponry" forms of martial arts tools, but are introduced to the non-dangerous ones. This kind of fan is heavy and used in many branches of martial arts. It makes a loud crack when swift movements are made. She was surprisingly adept with this and other weapons at an early age. I like the video, and that little photo is cute. This would be for me... martial arts for those who don't want to dislocate anything, and who are afraid of big knives. ;)
