Yes, ugly! The color doesn't help. This has been several different restaurants, now vacant again. I've heard of Aalto...I'll look him up...

Oh, the furniture is great. Some of the houses I like, but his style doesn't translate well to commercial and industrial buildings in my opinion. His work seems unsettled from one building to the next, but the furniture has cohesion.

You know, I think I could make a cute minimalistic house out of that. Put it on the side of a hill, paint it slate grey, plant ornamental grasses and birch trees around it and I'm done! ;-)

Yes, if you plant enough trees around it and grass on the roof to hide it, then it looks good! =D
