Crater Lake Klamath Regional

The name was changed a few years ago to add Crater Lake, because people actually recognize it. That has not increased commercial air traffic. Without good air service, the city really has no hope of attracting industries that aren't already here.

Back 50 years when passenger rail travel was still something, Klamath was probably more important. With passenger train travel being replaced by I-5 travel, Klamath becomes forgotten and thus doesn't develop the other needed stuff (air travel). Lack of access is seldom good for keeping a culture alive.
