Very unusual and interesting patterns. I've never seen anything like that while I was driving. I hope you stopped the car to take the photos. ;-)

Grandson was driving. ;-) These are melted tar they use to repair cracks on minor roads (white is the sun reflecting on tar). Gives the road crew a few more years before they have to try getting funding to re-pave. Just small town stuff...

Fascinating special are the white craquelés!
