Mangoes

Mmm, lovely mangoes. Unlike Graham, these are among my favourites, though sadly out of season here at present.

Lol! I have the same opinion of papayas. My mother used to have them in the house all the time when they lived in Hawaii. She talked me into trying one and I did. I said, "Is this some kind of joke?!" It tasted and smelled rotten. I do like mangoes, but guavas are even better!

I like them, too, though in a tropical setting. I think I've only bought a few for myself over the years. There's something about that pit that gives me the creeps. ;-) We get them from Mexico and Hawaii.
