They have loud complaints

Some people find the shrill sound of seagulls annoying, but I am entertained by them. It's nice to have a bit of the seaside this far inland.

I asked a fellow putting his groceries in his car why the gull was so far inland.
His answer: " think he blew in with a hurricane and liked it here .."
Makes sense to me !

Diane Putnam club has replied to Peggy C clubPeggy C club has replied to Diane Putnam clubA friend from up North came to Florida for a visit --- since the visitor was from one of those Northern states that don't have cattle egrets, he asked My drummer friend what they were.
This is where you should be seated, Diane.
From my Florida drummer friend, who could be very serious -- " oh, you haven't seen these birds before?
They are out there in the field with the cattle to help them .. the egrets are "seeing-eye" birds for the cattle, who are blind."
You know how those fields look ..lots of little white egrets and the large cattle.
The visitor bought the explanation.
No, my friend did not tell him the truth until he was ready to fly back North.
