The industrial district of Klamath Falls, Oregon, is my favorite area of town. There are lots of vacant buildings that are still salvageable. I've always dreamed of living and painting in a space like this. Abandoned former food wholesaler.

.. love discovering these signs

.. there is Coffin factory nearby - my son has been inside when a small shop was there .. what fascinated him .... the wide plank wooden floors ! Said if he won the lottery, he would buy it [ it takes up a city block ] .... oh, he has plans to bring it back .. no funds...

I fantasize about that, too! Nope, no funds. I saw one here being demolished, a former box factory with wide floor planks and trusses made of HUGE lengths of lumber. The days of old-growth trees... Now they kind of have to laminate little sticks together. Ha!

There are still some "ghost signs" around that I haven't photographed.
