Lærdalstunnelen is the worlds longest road tunnel with it's 24,5 km. There are three caves with light to break the monotone driving in the dark tunnel. This is the center cave.
Here you see two roads. The really old from 1793 and just old from 1843. The newest one is the curvy one. This road segment was part of the road going through the Lærdal valley. The famous Borgund stave church is just a short distance from here.

From 1132. It's the Sognefjord that can be seen in the background. This church have some really special wood carvings on one of the walls. You can see it by zooming in to this photo.
