Sverd i fjell

This 10 meter tall artwork is located at the shores of the Hafrsfjord. According to the sagas this fjord was the site of the last battle Harald finehair had to fight to become the first king of the Norwegians. The biggest sword represent the victorious king Harald, the others the two petty kings who was defeated. All swords are embedded in the rocks, not to be used anymore. This represent peace and unity.
