These were, and still are, the best markets... not made for tourists. I wonder where that was.

So you were in the little village of Maras. I was there in 2006 and it still wasn´t a tourist place. Did you get to the salt mines too?

If I remember correctly, it was a circuit from Chinchero: Urubamba and Tiobamba only. We didn't go to Maras.

Pity you didn´t go to the salt mines of Maras at that time. Today you can't go close to them... there were too many tourists ... too much work to clean after them, imagine!
