➽ "Turamichele" (Turm-Michael) ist der Name eines mechanischen Figurenspiels im Perlachturm (PiP) . Es zeigt den Erzengel Michael im Kampf mit dem Teufel. Das Turamichele wird nur an den Tagen um den 29. September, dem Michaelitag, in Gang gesetzt. An diesen Tagen erscheint der hölzerne St. Michael zwischen 10 und 18 Uhr zu jeder vollen Stunde am mit Blumen geschmückten Fenster und sticht im Takt der Stundenschläge mit einer Lanze auf den, zu seinen Füßen liegenden, Teufel ein (siehe GIF unten) . Der Tag ist immer mit einem großen Kinderfest verbunden. Alle zählen die "Stiche" laut mit und beim letzten wird dann ein Luftballon-Wettbewerb gestartet (PiPs) . An den Ballons hängen Friedensgrüße, die Karte, die vom weit entferntesten Ort zurück geschickt wird, gewinnt einen Preis. Das Turamichele wird schriftlich erstmals 1616 erwähnt, die ursprünglichen Figuren sollen jedoch schon 1526 entstanden sein. Sie wurden im zweiten Weltkrieg zerstört. Die neue Figurengruppe wurde 1949 von dem Bildhauer Karl Hoefelmayr gefertigt. It shows the Archangel Michael fighting with the Devil. The "Turamichele" appears only on the days around September 29, the Michaelmas. On these days, the wooden St. Michael appears hourly between 10:00 am until 06:00 pm in a flower-filled window and stabs according to the hour-strikes with a spear on the Devil, who's lying at his feet (see GIF below) . The day is also marked by a big children's party. All count the "stabs" loudly and then starts, with the last hit, a balloon competition (PiPs) . On the balloons hanging greetings of peace, the card which is sent back from the farthest place wins a prize. The "Turamichele" is first mentioned in writing in 1616, but the original characters are supposed to be created already in 1526. They were destroyed in WW II.
