Castelsardo

Castelsardo is a small town in northern Sardinia. The old medieval town is built on top of this hill and promontory (you can see the castle from here) while the buildings you see below are the modern one. Founded by the Republic of Genova in 1200 has been in the past a prosperous town. Recently has become a popular summer holidays destination.
