The unstable world: Margerie Glacier
This magnificent glacier up in glacier Bay, Alaska is shedding its ice continually. This is what glaciers do but this point where the glacier meets the sea is miles inland to what it was just 20 years ago. Frightening! But a delight to witness!

If I only could... I visited Norway and Canada but not nearby glaciers, Herb. And I dream to visit Patagonia.(And many other places) Dreams, you know... Cheers,Dany

An impressive sight and sound too Wally. The dull weather helped to capture this blue actually but the bigger wide-angled shots looked miserable. Glad you liked it.
