Just to show I have always been to far ahead of myself trying to run before I could even walk. this was a panorama I made out on two SLIDES that I was going to print and try to put together. This was joined today by PTGui from the two digital images. I have kept them the same all I have done is remove the dust from the image so Its as close to original as you can get after some 40 odd years.
this was taken late 70's so this will have been 50mm and 64 ASA Kodak film Olympus OM1. enjoy the colour mist and clouds. Just goes to show we still see the same today as yesterday.

Cloud free forecast total cloud cover so I left my astro lens at home to save weight , so I had to use the 16-35mm F4 for a second time I am happy to say passed with flying colours. while I walked here( 15 min) from the motel to capture the Milky Way Bow in Black skies yes that close.
This is a shot that was taken for just one group in mind I would have never taken this shot before total have shunned it. the lighting is provided by kalbarri town ship behind me and the stars all around.
enjoy a clouded night in the mid west. Note the Zodiacal light on the left hand side of the Milky Way.

For those that have followed the trip to Kalbarri will have seen a strange landscape all in layers from the sea to the top of natures window. for those with a bit of geological knowledge here is the reason.
Sedimentary is laid down by water look at what is front of you those that know a beach you will recognize the shapes in the rock. note this is high up on the cliff next to natures window. this layer showed up a a few more places on the walk down. Check the PIP although from a whole different land (NZ) on a living beach the same water principles apply to the sand and the patterns created. now turned to stone.
